Clover is a unique cms system because it's a service that works with any website and on any webhost. Most cms systems require an install and a database on your server. Others are just fancy FTP clients with limited functionality.
Clover is not an FTP client and only requires you to add a few files to your site because Clover is a service (no database required). All you have to do is add 2 lines of code to your page where you want content to appear. Clover works by hosting your content on our Clover database (dare we say, in the "cloud"). Your content is accessed through Clover's Web Services API. The 2 line snippet of code added to your site pages pulls your content from the Clover database and onto your pages instantly. The Web Services can be accessed using PHP, ASP.Net or Javascript. This gives you a choice in server technology and maximum flexibility. It's simple to set up and simple to use.
